Charles Douglas Henderson....what an amazing man. He was God's child first and foremost and never ceased to put his devotion to the Lord and Savior above all else in his life. He was very blessed and was given the voice of an angel, so loud, so thunderous, so beautiful that mere words could never describe it. He married the love of his life, Wilma Gertrude Bunch, and together, they built a life consisting of 62 years of love, respect and devotion to each other. He adopted four daughters and proved to be the best father on earth that didn't have to be. Sarah, Betty, Mary, and Margaret knew him as their earthly hero, one who never spoke an unkind word or showed anger. His love was boundless. He served in World War Two, earned Masters in music, was born and raised in Quincey, Mass.,had four brothers and one sister. He has 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, as well as one great-great grandchild. He has one surviving brother, Clifton. The Lord called him home on March 2nd, 2013 and we know that his work here was done. God welcomed one of His very finest home that day and our Daddy was ready to walk the streets of glory in his renwed eternal life with his loved ones who went before him. He will be missed terribly and will forever live in our hearts. The lessons he taught us, the endless love his entire family shared, and his faith in God has made us strong and resilent. Until we meet again...Daddy...I love you so very much.
